YouTube Kids App Comes To Amazon Fire TV Devices

Amazon says that it will start rolling out the app on the Fire TV devices across the globe starting July 9.

Amazon announced that Google’s YouTube Kids app will now be available on all Fire TV devices across the globe. The list of Fire TV devices includes the company’s Fire TV Sticks, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Edition soundboard, and Fire TV Edition smart TV.

The YouTube Kids app will not only enable to create profiles specific to their kids and block channels and videos that they don’t want their kids to see but it will also give kids the access to kids specific content such as For your Entomologist: Lucas the Spider and For your DIYer: Life Hacks for Kids.

Amazon says that it will start rolling out the YouTube Kids app on the Fire TV devices starting July 9.

In addition to the YouTube Kids app, Amazon Fire TV devices across the globe will also get access to the Voot Kids app.

The Voot Kids app comes with a Parent Zone feature that enables parents to supervise their kids’ activities, set a screen time-limit, and update themselves on their kids’ learning progress. Parents will be able to make profiles of up to five kids on the Voot Kids app.

Lastly, the Amazon Fire TV devices are also getting the Sega app that brings popular games such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD, and Sonic Spinball to their smart TVs.
