The blog site also shared screenshots of the notification that users are getting. This notification informs users about the things that are changing with the new ToS. They also shed light on the things that will remain unchanged even as the new ToS kick in.
For instance, WhatsApp says that users’ personal conversations will remain end-to-end encrypted. The company said that while that will remain unchanged, it is making it easier for users to chat with businesses.

The fact is that this in-app alert says that the new ToS will come into effect on May 15, 2021, and that failing to accept these terms would end up in users losing access to their accounts.
