Samsung unveiled a new artificial intelligence (AI) suite of capabilities for its connected smart home products on Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025. The South Korean tech giant noted that this new AI product is part of its new “AI for All” vision, which aims to make technology an “Everyday, Everywhere” experience.

Home AI aims to provide a highly personalized experience for a large number of users living under the same roof. Samsung recently unveiled its screen-based Vision AI features.

In a newsroom post, the tech giant explained Home AI and the different platforms and products it will use to ensure a seamless user experience. Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of Samsung’s Device Experience (DX) Division, unveiled the new AI product. He stated that Home AI will offer “truly personalized” services across all intelligent and connected devices.

Simply put, Home AI is an AI-powered personalization tool that can accommodate the different lifestyles of multiple people living in the same house or apartment. Samsung claims that Home AI learns from user habits and adapts to individual routines.

Samsung is also integrating a variety of in-house products to make the personalisation process more secure and simple for users. The tech giant uses the Samsung Knox Matrix for security and privacy, which now also includes home appliances. The connected devices use blockchain technology to protect the user’s home and data from digital threats.

One UI, the company’s operating system for various devices, will be included with all connected Samsung devices to allow interoperability and help users manage all devices seamlessly. SmartThings, its smart home platform, will also be connected with Home AI. Furthermore, AI-powered Bixby Voice will work with all smart home connected devices.
