Samsung is preparing to host its Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, where we expect to see the Galaxy S25 series. The event’s teaser posters showed four devices: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a new Galaxy S25 Slim model.
According to a new leak, the first possible renders of the Galaxy S25 Slim have emerged, displaying its thin build. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM. The handset may be on sale in May, but it is expected to be unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks), a prolific leaker, has shared CAD renders of the Galaxy S25 Slim in conjunction with Smartprix. These renders show the handset with a flat front, back, and sides.
The display features thin bezels and a hole punch cutout at the top to house the selfie shooter. It looks to include a triple rear camera setup on the back, similar to the design language of last year’s Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 models.
The Galaxy S25 Slim will reportedly be 6.4 mm deep without the camera module and 8.3mm thick with the camera module. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to be 8.2 mm deep.
The phone’s screen might be between 6.7 and 6.8 inches. It is claimed to be 159x76x6.4mm. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is estimated to be 162.8×77.6×8.2mm. This indicates that the slim edition may be 1.6mm narrower, 3.8mm shorter, and 1.8mm thinner than the Ultra.
