The Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, S25 Ultra were revealed on Wednesday during the company’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. These phones support Galaxy AI capabilities powered by artificial intelligence (AI). All devices come preloaded with Android 15 and the company’s One UI 7 interface.
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S25 series would have new Galaxy AI features such as Now Brief and Night Video with Audio Eraser. Users can also access Google Gemini services through the company’s apps, like as Samsung Notes. The Galaxy S25 series is set to receive seven years of OS and security updates.

It has a 50-megapixel primary camera with 2x in-sensor zoom, optical image stabilization (OIS), and an f/1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, both handsets sport a 12-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
These smartphones’ connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connection. Both variants feature an IP68 dust and water-resistant rating. Samsung claims that new phones will receive seven years of OS and security updates, exactly like their predecessors. Both variants include an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 has a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged at 25W (wired, charger sold separately), whereas the Galaxy S25+ has a larger 4,900mAh battery that supports 45W charging (wired, charger sold separately).
