Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, and the smartphones are now available for preorder in several countries. The handsets in the lineup are the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The South Korean tech giant also teased a fourth Galaxy S25 Edge variant, which is set to debut later this year.
The slimmer ‘Edge’ version is believed to use the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset as the other Galaxy S25 variants. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has been sighted on a certification website, disclosing its charging specifications.
According to 91Mobiles, a new handset with the model number SM-S9370 appeared on China’s 3C certification website. This is likely the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone. It was previously thought to go by the name “Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim” before the company teased the smartphone during its first Galaxy Unpacked event in 2025.
The listing suggests that the next Galaxy S25 model would enable 25W charging via a wired adaptor. This is the same charging speed as the Galaxy S25, the slowest in the current Galaxy S25 lineup. We can also predict that the device, like the previous devices in the Galaxy S25 series, will arrive without a charger in the box.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be released “around April” this year. It is projected to be thinner than the other Galaxy S25 smartphones. According to older reports, the phone has a 6.4mm profile and a thickness of 8.3mm around the camera module.
