Android 15 Beta 2 Rolling Out Now: Check Eligible Phones

The Xiaomi 14 and 13T Pro, as well as the 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, support the Android 15 Developer Preview Program.

Google has started rolling out the Android 15 Beta 2 update for compatible Pixel phones. Several phone makers have also rolled out the beta update to their compatible phones and tablets. This update is intended to increase productivity, extend battery life, and improve app performance. It’s also believed to improve user privacy and security.

The Android 15 Beta 1 was released in April of this year. The third and fourth versions are slated to be released in June and July/August, respectively. The following are some of the new features and devices that work with the latest Android 15 Beta 2.

Google confirmed that Android 15 Beta 2 is now available on all eligible Pixel phones. Meanwhile, smartphones, tablets, and foldable devices from Honor, iQoo, Lenovo, Nothing, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi are also eligible.

Vivo X100 and iQoo 12 customers in India, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia can download the update from the Vivo developer website. Nothing Phone 2a, OnePlus 12, and OnePlus Open users can access the Android 15 Beta program through the Nothing and OnePlus communities, respectively. However, according to their official releases, they will receive the Android 15 Beta 1 version.

The Android 15 Developer Preview Program is also available on the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13T Pro, and 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. Users may get the update from Xiaomi’s support page. The update is also available for Realme 12 Pro+ 5G, which can be accessed through a Realme community post.

Honor Magic 6 Pro, Honor Magic V2, Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G, Sharp Aquos Sense 8, Oppo Find X7, and Lenovo Tab Extreme customers will all receive an Android 15 Beta update. The upgrades can be downloaded via the company’s developer websites.

The Android 15 Beta 2 version includes Private Space, which is regarded as a digital safe for applications that you do not want to show to others. Access to these apps will be provided via fingerprint scans and/or a code.

It also has ‘Save App Pairs’, which allows users to pin a pair of applications to the taskbar. There is also a Predictive Back function, additional modifications to Picture-in-Picture, and more data types available in Health Connect.
