Witnesses reported a possible shooting at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Milledgeville, Georgia, on Saturday evening, sparking confusion and concern among residents. Some social media users claimed that one person may have been killed, but officials have not yet confirmed these details.

Conflicting Reports and Police Response

While initial posts suggested shots were fired and even a plane crash occurred near the restaurant, authorities have not issued an official statement on those claims.

According to the Union-Recorder, law enforcement is investigating a deadly shooting that happened just before 6 PM at the Buffalo Wild Wings located in the Milledgeville Mall shopping center.

“Authorities remain on the scene, where at least one person was confirmed dead,” the report noted.

The complex on the 2400 block of North Columbia Street includes multiple businesses and restaurants. Witnesses said many patrons were present when the incident unfolded.
