Apple’s iPhone 16 smartphone series, which includes four models – the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max is likely to be released in global markets soon.
While Apple does not provide any information about unreleased products, its upcoming smartphone lineup has been leaked multiple times. This year, all four iPhone models are expected to include support for Apple Intelligence capabilities, with the ‘Plus’ edition packing a smaller battery than its predecessor.
According to Apple Hub’s post on X (previously known as Twitter), the standard iPhone 16 will cost $799 for the base model with 128GB capacity. The larger iPhone 16 Plus is expected to start at $899.

The iPhone 16 Pro will be priced at $1,099 for the 256GB storage option, while the top-tier iPhone 16 Pro Max will cost $1,199 for the same amount of internal storage. The standard models will be available in 256GB and 512GB capacities. According to the post on X, the Pro models will be available in 512GB and 1TB capacities.
According to the most recent leak, both the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus will be powered by Apple’s rumored A18 chipset. They are also likely to have 8GB of RAM, as the post says they will support Apple Intelligence features exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The base model is expected to include a 6.1-inch display with a refresh rate of 60Hz, while the Plus variant will have a 6.7-inch screen. On the display front, very little has changed since the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Similarly, the phones are expected to have 2x optical zoom on the primary camera and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.

This year, Apple is expected to increase the battery capacity of both the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The former is said to be powered by a 3,355mAh battery, while the larger variant could have a 4,676mAh battery. For context, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were released last year with 3,290mAh and 4,441mAh batteries, respectively.
