iPhone 16 Pro Leaked Video Suggests New Coffee Colour Option

The iPhone 16 Pro's camera island may have a two-tone finish, with different colorways for the lens and module rings.

The iPhone 16 series will make its public debut at an Apple event on September 10. Continuing the trend from previous years, Apple’s flagship smartphone range may include four versions, with the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max being the top-tier models.

While these devices are expected to receive multiple internal updates, a fresh source suggests that a new colorway will be launched this year, as well as design changes to the camera system.

In a post on X (previously Twitter), tech blogger Emkwan published a short video teaser that was first leaked by a Dubai-based retailer and appears to be for the iPhone 16 Pro. According to the teaser, Apple may release a new Coffee colorway with a brown finish this year for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Additionally, the rumored handset’s camera island may have a two-tone finish, with the camera lenses sporting a circular silver ring while the outside frame retains a square brown ring – a separate color accent from the handset’s chassis.

This development follows a previous leak of the iPhone 16 Pro Max dummy unit in a new Desert Titanium colourway. Instead of a gold finish, it is said to be more brown, akin to the previously reported Coffee brown colorway. It has a matte-textured back panel and chrome-finished side rails, just as in previous Pro models.

In terms of optics, it is expected to have a better resolution 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. The phone is also expected to use Apple’s tetraprism telephoto lens, which was unveiled with the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year.
