Apple users for long have talked about seamless connectivity between their iPhones, iPads, and Mac devices. However, now Android smartphone users can access their smartphone apps on their Microsoft PCs using Microsoft’s Your Phone app.
To give you a quick brief, Microsoft’s Your Phone app enables Android smartphone users to access all of their smartphone’s app and their functionalities on their Windows 10-powered PCs.
Users can not only make and receive calls from their PCs, but they can also receive and manage their phone’s notifications, access their mobile apps from their PCs and read and reply to text messages from their PCs. They can even drag files between their PCs and their Android smartphones.
Here’s how you set up your PC:
Step 1: In the search box on the taskbar, search for your phone.
Step 2: Select the Your Phone app from the results.
Step 3: Sign in to your Microsoft Account.

Here’s how you set up your Android smartphone:
Step 1: Open a browser on your phone, type in www.aka.ms/yourpc.
Step 2: Download the Your Phone Companion app. If you have a Samsung smartphone, you’ll be prompted to open Link to Windows instead.
Step 3: Install Your Phone Companion and open the app.
Step 4: Follow the guided setup process.
Step 5: If prompted to sign into the Your Phone Companion app, be sure to use the same Microsoft Account you’re using on your PC and you’re good to go!
