Facebook has undergone significant changes in the past year. The company has completely designed its platform, which includes both, its website and its apps.
In addition to that, the company has also rolled out dark mode on its platform and services including Messenger, Instagram, and Facebook’s website.
What the company hasn’t done so far is roll out dark mode in its app. But that is about to change. Word is that Facebook has started rolling out dark mode in mobile apps globally.
As per a report by MacRumors, several iOS users have reported getting an update that brings the much-awaited dark mode in the Facebook app.

If you are an iPhone user you have received the update, you can enable dark mode by tapping on the hamburger icon, selecting the Dark Mode option under Settings & Privacy settings, and selecting On or System option for enabling the feature.

XDA Developers in a separate report noted that the company has also started rolling out the dark mode feature in its Android app as well.
Additionally, Jane Machun Wong shared a video that demonstrates how dark mode looks like in the Facebook app. The video has been in collaboration with Facebook so it is safe to say that the video shows exactly how the app would look like.
