After months of countless buildup and continuous speculation, the first trailer for the fourth Avengers movie has finally dropped. Find out the true mysteries of the Endgame in our Avengers 4 trailer breakdown. This Avengers 4 trailer really focuses on the quick aftermath of Thanos (Josh Brolin) victory, with the world reeling as half the human race was killed in an instant. The Avengers originally seem shattered and defeated, devastated at the losses they have suffered. Endgame must figure out a way to conclude 11 years of Marvel Cinematic Universe storytelling.
The trailer starts with a voiceover from Iron Man(Tony Stark), who is stranded in space with oxygen about to run out. Back on Earth, we see various bleak shots of the Avengers building, while Steve, Natasha, Bruce, and Thor grieve for the loss of their friends after Thanos snapped his fingers. But it appears that Steve has a plan. The trailer also promises the return of two big characters who were absent from Infinity War.

There ain’t a hell of a lot of stories revealed in the trailer and it shows the only Avengers prominently highlighted in the Avengers: Endgame trailer are those who were around for the first movie. There’s still a lot we can pull from this trailer. So let’s find out what does the Avengers: Endgame trailer means for each member of the team?
IRON MAN
Tony Stark is drifting in space on a ship which looks like the Guardians’ second ship named Benatar. While it looks like a significant time jump from Avengers: Infinity War to Avengers: Endgame, but I think a conservative approximation is that a year or two will have passed, as most of the Marvel movies take place in actual time.
Tony is trying to transmit messages for Pepper Potts and for this he is recording audio messages. Although it’s never made clear whether Pepper survived Thanos’ snap or not as we didn’t see her turning in to dust at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.
However, Iron Man isn’t acting like the kind of guy who expects to get out of this alive. It’s not clear whether he is alone on the ship or not but it seems like Nebula isn’t present on the ship. So, in this case, we can expect some kind of major character, who will come to rescue Tony Stark from deep space. But the question is .. who? In this case, my guess is it may be someone from the guardian of the galaxy series, someone who probably isn’t seen in the trailer.
THANOS
The trailer shows Thanos-armor-as-scarecrow, which is a pretty compelling visual, though. Post which we got a shot of Thanos with gauntlet in between some kind farming or whatever the hell it is he’s done. It really makes Thanos’ victory in Infinity War all the more chilling, considering that he committed the craziest mass murder ever and then just retires.
NEBULA
Is Nebula on the ship with Tony Stark? Maybe… I dunno. It seems like in one shot she touches someone’s shoulder, is she came to rescue him? There is zero possibility Nebula makes it out of this movie alive, though.
CAPTAIN AMERICA
We all anticipated that Infinity War would be the movie for Tony Stark to bite the big one. Even we got a scene where he got stabbed by Thanos and everybody just thinks that its the end of their favorite character. But with Avengers 4(End Game), the speculation is that we may see Steve Rogers to sacrifice himself to reverse the snap.
Many cases, Chris Evans keeps on making comments about being done with the role, something that the Russo Brothers keep trying to walk back. But someway most of us now expect Caption to pass his shield to others and this trailer kinda shows that.
HULK, BLACK WIDOW, THOR
While I’m sure everyone is accusing themselves to some extent, but it seems Bruce holding himself responsible might be for the reason that if he had been able to control Hulk better then he might have done a better job fighting off Thanos’ invasion?
Most of us know Natasha has a solo movie of her own in development. So, it’s a safe bet that she will survive Avengers Endgame.
If anyone seems complete down(except Steve) then its the God of Thunder. Well, we can say he lost almost everything, his brother, his planet and almost everything. Maybe he could have stopped all this, but with almost everyone wiped out of Thor series, it looks like Avengers Endgame may be the end of his character.
HAWKEYE, ANT-MAN
So it’s clear where Hawkeye has been all this time. He’s been dressed up as Ronin character but backstory yet to revealed in April 2019.
Lastly, why is Scott Lang here? Isn’t he listed as “missing” on the monitor? With him showing up at the Avengers Headquarters gates along with his truck, it seems like there will be some plan including Quantum Realm. But how did he get out of that?

Although one good news is that Avengers: Endgame is opening a little sooner than originally expected. The new release date is April 26, 2019.
