Aquaman (2018)
Cast: Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe
Director: James Wan
Finally, DC seems to be moving in the right direction. Aquaman is very imaginative and James Wan’s gorgeous underwater world makes it distinct from all other superhero movies. The visuals are stunning, the story is engaging and full of intricate details. James Wan unquestionably did an astonishing job with the right cast. I can’t think of a better actor to take the role of Aquaman than Jason Momoa.
The movie begins with Nicole Kidman(Atlanna) and Temuera Morrison and slowly moves towards the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Jason Momoa(Arthur Curry) learns that he is the heir of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and be a hero to the world.

Aquaman (2018) Review:
James Wan delivered a magnificent superhero fantasy. James Wan created a magnificent marvelous submarine world! Although the storyline is not innovative, the visual effect and the music score are beyond imagination! Additionally, the costume designs make the undersea creatures vividly to the audience. I personally loved the costume of Princess Mera.
I was never bored throughout this movie, but that is not because of the clever dialogue. No, it’s because everything in it is incredibly over-the-top. No kidding, be it the heroes or the villains, the action scenes or the romantic ones, every single thing in this movie is kind of exaggerated. The second act is a bit too slow, but Aquaman has a jaw-dropping finale. One of the greatest experiences I had in a movie theater this year.
You will find a lot of mixed reviews on the internet, but I would say just ignore it and enjoy the spectacle. When it comes to the ratings, this movie has a 6.3 out of 10 rating on Rotten Tomatoes. But in my opinion, this movie deserves something above 8 out of 10 rating.
When it comes to IMDB, this movie has 8.3 out of 10 rating given by nearly 5,342 IMDb Users. So it’s clear, despite all the mixed reviews movie lovers are enjoying it.
Whether to watch it or not:
Aquaman (2018) is simply the sort of movie that you should watch only in a movie theater. This movie is pretty entertaining along with the exceptional directing, good plot, excellent setting, and amazing visuals. I would say this is the best movie in DC Extended Universe so far. So, don’t think too hard about it; just go to a theater to experience the best of it.
