Apple finally revealed the iPhone event date: September 9. According to reports, the company will make hardware announcements such as the new iPhone 16 series, a new Apple Watch (or Watches if the new Ultra is accompanied), and new Apple AirPods.
“It’s Glowtime” is the event’s tagline, which could reference Apple Intelligence. The upcoming iPhone 16 series will be the first from Apple to include artificial intelligence out of the box.

Notably, recent reports indicated that Apple would hold its event on September 10, but the company surprised everyone by announcing the launch date a day sooner than expected. The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater and will be live-streamed on YouTube. People who want to watch the launch online can do so on YouTube.
Aside from the iPhone 16 series, Apple will likely make several announcements, such as new Apple Watch models and AirPods. The company will also announce the release dates for iOS 18 and other recent software updates.

According to rumors, the upcoming iPhone 16 series will include four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. This year, the company plans to add an Action button to all of its models, replacing the iconic alert slider on basic iPhones for the first time. Last year, the Action Button was added to the Pro models.
The most awaited thing is Apple Intelligence, the company’s all-new AI effort via its cutting-edge technology. Apple revealed a sneak peek at iOS 18 at WWDC, but we should expect additional details during the September 9 event.
